Cook Time: 12–15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Prepare the chicken:
Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season them with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Sear the chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook until golden:
Cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until the chicken is beautifully browned and cooked through.
Add the butter and garlic:
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and let it melt around the chicken. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds, stirring gently, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Coat the chicken:
Toss the chicken bites through the garlic butter, allowing the sauce to coat every piece. Cook for another 1–2 minutes so the flavors come together.
Finish the dish:
Turn off the heat and add the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss everything together.
Serve:
Transfer the chicken bites to a serving plate and spoon the extra garlic butter from the skillet over the top. Garnish with a little more fresh parsley.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve these Garlic Butter Chicken Bites with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or warm crusty bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce.
