Ingredients
1 large pork loin or pork roast (about 2–3 lb)
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp chili powder
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the pork roast dry with paper towels.
Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl.
Rub the olive oil over the pork, then coat it evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Place the pork on a parchment-lined baking tray and roast for about 45–60 minutes, depending on its size.
Meanwhile, mix the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, and apple cider vinegar.
Brush the glaze generously over the pork during the last 15–20 minutes of cooking, adding another layer every few minutes to create a thick, glossy crust.
Cook until the pork reaches a safe internal temperature appropriate for the specific cut, then remove it from the oven.
Let the roast rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
Slice it with a sharp knife and serve with the extra BBQ glaze.
Serving idea: Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, coleslaw, or buttery corn for a classic American BBQ-style meal.
